For as long as she can remember, Ellen has known she was meant to be a hairstylist. While she has worked behind the chair as a licensed stylist for the past 10 years, she has been in the industry for over 17 years, beginning her career as a salon receptionist at age fifteen! Ellen grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and realized as she got older that heading to a bigger city could provide her with additional opportunities to fulfill her career goals.

In 2013, she journeyed to the windy city of Chicago to attend the Douglas J Aveda Institute where she began her career as a stylist. After 4 years of working at a studio in Chicago, her life brought her to Austin, Texas where she continued to refine her craft while working on the historic West 6th Street. Over the years she has strengthened her skills by attending many workshops and classes. She specializes in balayage, natural blondes and dimensional brunettes. Ellen takes hair care very seriously and makes sure to keep your hair as healthy as possible. She takes the time to provide you with a thorough consultation to give you a customized look based off your features and everyday lifestyle. Ellen believes it is her job to ensure that you have a relaxed, stress-free experience and leave feeling your best self!

Ellen loves living in East Nashville with her husband, Baron, their son, James, golden retriever, Maggie, and wild black cat, Biggie. They recently welcomed a second sweet baby boy, Liam to their family! When they aren’t busy with their day-to-day life and careers, they love traveling, trying new restaurants, and finding fun cocktail bars!
